On the occasion of the 7th Partner Meeting of the SystemAlliance Europe Partnership GbR on 24 May 2012 in Barcelona,Oliver Rüter, Chairman of the Steering Committee, and Uwe Meyer, managing director of the System Alliance Europe Agency GmbH, awarded the best network partners in five different categories.

Based on the monthly quantity and quality statistics, the winners for the year 2011 were determined as follows:

In the category “Innovation”, the number and quality of pick-up orders that had been sent in 2011 via the network’s central system CargoCollect was evaluated. The Dutch partner Wim Bosman, ‘s-Heerenberg was recognised with the golden award.

In the category “Quality” - divided according to branch size – Streck,Möhlin/Switzerland and Rhenus Modřice/Czech Republic were awarded.

The golden “Improvement of the year” award which refers to theimproved quality and the number of consignments was won byRhenus Hilden/Germany.

Eagerly awaited was the presentation of the “Partner of the Year2011”. In this category, where the number of consignments and the 'degree of performance’ were each considered with 50%, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, Germany achieved the successful defence of the title. The 70 participants paid their tribute to the winners andrunners-up by their applause. 

This year’s award ceremony took placeon a catamaran in the harbour of Barcelona.

New regulations regarding Chairmanship of System Alliance Europe

Wolfgang Niessner, Gebrüder Weiss, and Michael Stephenson, Davies Turner were honored after two years as Chairman and Vice Chairman of System Alliance Europe Partnership GbR. Oliver Rüter, chairman of the steering committee expressed his gratitude for their commitment for the European cooperation. New representatives of the System Alliance Europe Partnership GbR are Oliver Rüter, Cretschmar and Paul Looman from the Dutch partner Wim Bosman as deputy. Thus, the chairmen of the steering committee also represent the whole network of System Alliance Europe.
