System Alliance Europe, the leading European cargo network, is about to launch a new range of delivery and logistics services with different time specifications and all the necessary arrangements for groupage transport. The new service portfolio ensures a logistic solution that fits the specific demands of the network´s European customers. The services will be presented for the first time at the “transport logistic” fair in Munich. 

In line with the slogan “Logistics with 9-Star Quality” – where each star represents one of the networks quality features – the new services are presented as “Star Services”. Starting this summer System Alliance Europe partners have the possibility to implement these services. 

“Star Classic” stands for the reliable and transparent delivery to all European destinations. If time is a crucial factor, “Star Date”, “Star Window” and “Star Priority” are offered. These time-definite services allow the customer to specify the moment of delivery. With these services System Alliance Europe commits itself to a delivery at a specified day, within a specified time window or at a precise delivery time (8 AM, 10 AM or by noon). The solid international network also allows for a pick-up and delivery anywhere in Europe (“Star Collect”). 

Additional services include a cash on delivery option (“Star Cash”), an advance delivery notice to the receiver (“Star Avis”), special treatment of dangerous cargo (“Star Hazardous”) and consignment delivery with special documents (“Star Document”). 

The introduction of the new services is an important part of the plan to further develop the cooperation´s leading position on the European market. Currently, 47 network partners with 171 branches are operational in 23 countries. Continuing with steady growth since the foundation of System Alliance Europe, the network partners achieved a total turnover of 10.5 billion euros last year, an increase by 9.9 % compared to 2007. The transport volume in Europe grew by 9.2 % to 11.8 million consignments; a total of 10.8 million tons freight was handled. Over 49,000 employees committed themselves to this outcome.

System Alliance Europe is a cargo network bundling the competences of leading medium-sized logistic service providers.
