In the past year, 3,730,581 consignments were handled in total – that are nearly seven percent more than the previous year. The tonnage amounted to 1.634 million tons. The shipments were transported via the all in all 1,740 traffic lines.

“This record is truly a good start into the 10th year of this cooperation. But we do not rest – for 2015, we intend to reach an additional five percent increase in consignments” says Uwe Meyer, managing director of System Alliance Europe.

The consignment quantities base on organic growth. Additional partners are not actively planned – however, interesting applications have been submitted. Moreover, the cooperation will offer this year additional services such as the track and tracing of products and batches. “This makes a membership even more valuable”, Meyer added.

Significant restrictions due to political developments are not expected. Even though, developments such as the new electronic trade and transport control system (EKAER) in Hungary are not always helping.

At the moment, the cooperation consists of 59 partners, who are represented in 32 European countries.

System Alliance Europe combines the competencies of leading medium-sized logistic service providers. We offer customers a European platform for groupage transport through their own regional partner. Organizational and IT guidelines guarantee high quality standards, transparent processes and reliable handling of shipments.
