On the occasion of this year’s Partner Meeting on 24 May 2011 in Cracow, for the first time, System Alliance Europe has awarded its partners in five different categories.

Based on the monthly quantity and quality statistics, the winners for the year 2010 were determined as follows:

In the category „Innovation“, the Dutch partner Wim Bosman Expeditie B.V. from ‘s-Heerenberg was honored. The category “Quality” was divided according to company size and consequently generated two winners: Rhenus Freight Logistics s.r.o. in Modřice/Czech Republic and Streck Transportgesellschaft m.b.H. Freiburg/Germany. Italsempione S.p.A. from Arluno/Italy was awarded in the category “Improvement of the year”. Highlight was the awarding of the “Partner of the Year 2010”, won by Hellmann Worldwide Logistics GmbH & Co. KG Germany. The 60 participants paid their tribute to the 15 winners by long-lasting applause attributed also to the special atmosphere in the former salt mine, 130 m below the ground surface.

Strategy paper for the next three years introduced

The strategy paper for the next three years has been adopted. It includes the reduction of CO2 emissions, the introduction of a pan European mobile data communication as well as the increase of collaboration among partners. The success is guaranteed by continuing cooperation in working groups and decision-making bodies. The steering committee, consisting of almost the same representatives from the start, was confirmed.
